Varanasi, March 19:
Residents are facing significant inconvenience due to a shortage of LPG gas cylinders in several areas of the city. Many households have reported delays in cylinder delivery, forcing them to rely on alternative cooking methods.
According to local distributors, the shortage has been caused by supply chain disruptions and increased demand in recent weeks. Consumers have complained that even after booking cylinders, they are not receiving them on time.
“I booked my cylinder 10 days ago, but it is still not delivered,” said a local resident. “We are struggling to manage daily cooking.”
Gas agency officials have assured that efforts are being made to restore normal supply soon. Authorities are also monitoring the situation to prevent black marketing and ensure fair distribution.
Meanwhile, residents have urged the administration to take immediate action to resolve the issue and provide relief to the public.
