 A laptop, also known as a laptop computer or notebook computer, is a tiny, portable computer featuring a screen and an alphanumeric keypad. Laptops are suited for mobile use because they can be folded shut for travelling. Its name originates from the fact that it was deemed practical to use while sitting on a person's lap.
