Speaking on Saturday, Acharya Krishnam—who has been regularly criticizing the Congress since his expulsion for 'anti-party activities'—stated that donations are given to political parties everywhere in the world. Is the opposition implying that the 1,300 businesses that donated to politics using these electoral bonds—money that was used to fund nation-building—are liars? Do they look like thieves?
Their donation of funds is now on file. It is owned by the public. It demonstrates the opposition's soiled mentality to disparage the achievements that are documented."
"The entire Opposition has started speaking in Rahul-ji's language," the ejected leader said, slamming Congress leader Rahul Gandhi for his prior claims that the BJP was conducting the "biggest extortion in the world" through the Electoral Bond Scheme. This is really regrettable."

Speaking at a news conference on Friday while on his current "Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra," Rahul had earlier asserted that the CBI and ED are no longer independent organizations but rather are tools used by the BJP and RSS to assailate opposition politicians.
