On March 13, the BJP announced the names of 72 additional candidates for the Lok Sabha elections. These candidates included former chief ministers Manohar Lal Khattar, Trivendra Singh Rawat, and Basavaraj Bommai, as well as Union ministers Nitin Gadkari, Piyush Goyal, and Anurag Singh Thakur.Anil Baluni, a member of the Rajya Sabha and the chief spokesperson for the BJP, was nominated from Garhwal, Uttarakhand.

Two new candidates have been fielded in Delhi: Yogendra Chandolia from North West Delhi and Harsh Malhotra from East Delhi.

Union Minister Pralhad Joshi is contesting from Dharwad in Karnataka, while B. Y. Raghavendra, the son of former Chief Minister B. S. Yediyurappa, is running from Shivamogga.

The leader of the BJP's youth wing, Tejasvi Surya, plans to run for office again in Bengaluru South.

The BJP's candidate for the Mysore seat is Yaduveer Krishnadatta Wadiyar, a member of the former Mysore royal family, who takes Pratap Simha's position.
